Toronto:– Former City of Toronto ombudsman Fiona Crean will become the new ombudsman of Hydro One, the provincial corporation’s board of governors said Thursday.
In her new role, the board says Crean will handle unresolved Hydro One customer complaints, and develop an appeals process for customers who take their complaints to the Ontario Energy Board.
She starts in the role on Nov. 17 and the board says her office will be up and running sometime in the first quarter of 2016.
