Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, October 15: Aam Aadmi Party MP from Patiala Dr Dharamvira Gandhi while expressing serious concern over tragic incidents at Kotkapura and Faridkot strongly condemned the provocative and repressive attitude adopted by the Badal government.
In a statement, Dr Gandhi alleged the sacrilege of Guru Granth Sahib was part of a deeper conspiracy to divert the attention of the farmers from their struggle for their rights. The police added fuel to the fire by opening fire on peacefully agitating people leading to the killing of two persons.
He cautioned people against such nefarious designs and conspiracies being hatched by the state government and appealed to them to maintain peace and amity. He said Punjab had had earlier paid a huge cost due to such conspiracies.
