Man and woman facing charges after police seize cache of automatic weapons, drugs

Toronto:A man and a woman are facing a combined 20 charges after police executed search warrants at homes in Toronto and Brampton on Tuesday and seized a variety of weapons and drugs.
According to police, members of the Guns and Gang Task Force executed the search warrants at around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
As a result, police say they seized a 45 calibre automatic Thompson sub-machine gun, a 9mm Cobray Mac 11 sub-machine gun, a sawed-off shotgun, a ballistic vest and a quantity of powdered cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana.
Leslie Prince, 38, of Toronto, and Immorie Joris, 27, of Brampton, are each facing 10 firearm-related charges.
