Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, September 11- Punjab Chief Minister Mr Parkash Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Panjab University (PU) senator, former Advocate General and ex-MLA of Punjab Mr. GK Chatrath, who passed away here at Chandigarh this morning.
In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Mr. Chatrath as a legal luminary and eminent jurist besides a noted academician in the field of legal studies. Recalling the outstanding services of Mr. Chatrath as a renowned lawyer, MLA and senator of PU, Mr Badal said that he had proved his mettle in the arena of law and jurisprudence besides in public service.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to grant eternal peace to the departed soul and give strength to the family, relatives and friends to bear this irreplaceable loss.
