PUNJAB TO PROCEED AGAINST VEHICLE DEALERS CHARGING MORE THAN FIXED RATE FOR RCs

CHANDIGARH, SEPTEMBER 07: Taking a serious note of overcharging amount at the time of vehicle registration , Punjab Transport Minister S. Ajit Singh Kohar has issued strict directions to District Transport Officers in the state to take immediate action.

Kohar said that it has come into the notice that some dealers were charging excess amount at the time of vehicle registration. He asked the District Transport Officers to ensure that all vehicle dealers should display rate list of fixed tax rates in their offices.
Kohar said that strict action would be taken if any vehicle dealer found charging more than fixed rate for vehicle registration.
