Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh September 5: To provide better health facilities and highly specialized services in the Government hospitals across the state, the Punjab Government has already finalized the schedule of appointing 307 posts Specialists Doctors in the state.
Disclosing this here today by Ms. Vini Mahajan, Principal Secretary, Health, Punjab said that the vacancies would be filled by holding walk-in-interviews on September 13 , 2015 from 10.00 am onwards in the State Institute of Health & Family Welfare, Phase VI, Mohali. She said that merit would be the main consideration while appointing Medical Officers (Specialist) including ENT, Gynae, General Surgery, Medicine, Nephrology, Ophthomology, Radiology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Skin and Chest. Eligible candidates can appear for the interviews along with their original documents etc., she added.
Recently, in the month of August the Department has given appointment letters to 286 Medical Officers (MBBS) from the combined merit list of PPSC. Besides these many other positions of Medical and para-medical staff has also been filled and deputed in various hospitals to further strengthen the govt. health institutions and better medical services for the people of the state, said Ms. Mahajan.
