Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Patiala, Members of the Bharti Kissan Union (Dakaunda) today held a protest march outside the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited head office in Patiala.
They demanded that power transformers removed during the recent raid in Hariau Khurd village be installed again. They kept the road blocked the entire day posing inconvenience to commuters. Meanwhile, police officials were on their toes throughout the day to ensure that the protesters do not take law into their hands. A case was already registered against farmers who had attacked policemen in Hariau Khurd.
