Mamohan Singh Randhawa hounded with President of India award

Chandigarh, Mamohan Singh Randhawa , Executive Officer Rajasansi has got the rare distinction of being awarded the President of India Award for Excellent Services during the Census 2011. The award ceremony was held in the Punjab University Auditorium at Chandugarh. On behalf of President of India the award was presented by S. Daljeet Singh Cheema, Education Minister, S. Gulzar Singh Ranike Minister for Animal Husbandries and Fisheries and Mrs. Seema Jain, Director Census  Punjab. Mr. Randhawa was the Charge Officer of Rajasansi during the Census 2011.

Only three Executive Officers from Punjab have been selected for Presidents Award for Census 2011, Mr. Randhwa being one of them. He is currently posted as Exceutive Officer Rajasansi. He also holds additional charge of Executive Officer Municipal Councils of Batala, TaranTaaran and Majitha.  The coveted Medal and Certificate in another honour for this relentless Public servant. Earlier this year during the Republic Day he was honoured by District Administration Amritsar for Meritorious services.

Elated on receiving  the award Mr. Randhawa thanked the Government for recognizing his services and said that this award is a further motivation for him as well as others to perform their duties with utmost dedication and commitment. He said that his motto in life and service has been “Nothing is impossible”.  This core belief has lead him to carry out whatever challenging tasks assigned to him with the best possible way and earn respect from his seniors as well as colleagues.
