Toronto-–Toronto police say a man who was stabbed in Scarborough’s Cliffcrest neighbourhood Sunday night has died in hospital.
The incident occurred shortly before 10:30 p.m. near Kingston Road and Rockwood Drive.
Police say the 21-year-old man was involved in a dispute outside a variety store on Kingston Road when he was stabbed multiple times.

According to witnesses in the area, the victim knocked on a neighbour’s door to ask for assistance before collapsing on the front lawn.
“He ran down here (and) was asking for help. We called 911, not myself but a neighbour did, and we just tried to do the best we could for him before the paramedics came,” Shawn O’Donnell, a neighbour who knew the victim, told CP24.
“When they had him in the ambulance, they were trying to revive him.”
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was transported to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries but died early Monday morning, police said.
Two 18-year-old males are currently in custody in connection with the deadly incident, police confirm.
The suspects, police say, were apprehended Monday but there is no word on if charges have been laid.
A section of Kingston Road from Rockwood Drive to McNab Boulevard was blocked off Monday morning as police continued to investigate and police also sealed off a number of homes on Rockwood Drive.
The owner of the plaza where the man was stabbed said he has handed over video surveillance footage to police.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact police at 416-808-2222.
