Father and son from Toronto dead after head-on crash in Muskoka Lakes

Toronto– The OPP is investigating after a father and son from Toronto were killed in a two-vehicle, head-on crash 35 kilometres northwest of Bracebridge Saturday afternoon.
Sometime before 4:30 p.m. Saturday, police said two vehicles collided on Peninsula Road, north of Gregory Road, in Muskoka Lakes Township.
The male driver and a male passenger in the car travelling northbound were pronounced dead at the scene, and a 13-year-old female passenger in the vehicle was airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the deceased victims of the crash are 76-year-old Anthony Lash and 46-year-old David Lash, a father and son, both from Toronto.
The male driver of the vehicle travelling southbound was taken to a hospital in Bracebridge with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said Peninsula Road will be closed for some time as investigators reconstruct the scene of the crash.
