Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh

CHANDIGARH, JULY 11: A high level delegation of Senior Shiromani Akali Dal leaders comprising of Mr. Sohan Singh Thandal, Mr. Surjit Singh Rakhra (Both Cabinet Minister, Punjab Government) and Mr. Balwinder Singh Bhundar (Member Parliament) today landed at Chicago Airport in America. On its arrival at the airport the Punjabi Diaspora living in America extended warm welcome to the visiting delegation.
It was revealed in a press communiqué released here today. Spokesperson of the SAD said that this high level delegation of the party has been dispatched to America to assess and identify the problems of the Punjabi Diaspora living there and to suggest remedial measure to the party high command to resolve and mitigate their woes. During their stay in America this delegation would participate in various Public Interaction Programme slated to be organised by the Punjabi Diaspora. During these Mass Interaction Meetings the leaders would listen to the problems of the NRIs subsequently they would make a comprehensive report with remedial measures. This report would be put up before the party high command.
The spokesperson further said that this delegation would attend such Mass Interaction Meetings in Chicago and different places in the State of California. After this mission the delegation would move to Canada for the same task.
