Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, July 8: A delegation of Bhartiya Valmeki Dhram Samaj today called on Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal to apprise him about demands pertaining to community.
The delegation led by its National President Mr. Ashwani Sahota, Dr. Dev Singh Advaiti and other office bearers accompanied by Advisor to Chief Minister Mr. Maheshinder Singh Grewal submitted charter of demand to Deputy CM. They also sought strictest action against those uploading derogatory remarks against religious personalities on social media.
Mr. Badal patiently heard the issues of organisation and assured that the Punjab Government will look into their issues after due consultations with all departments concerned.
Prominent amongst those present in the meeting included Mr. Lalla Babu Dravid, Mr. Ramesh Samarpit, Mr. Rajinder Valmik, Mr. Raj Kumar Danav, Mr. Madan Lal Siraswal, Mr. Vijay Manav and office bearers of the organisation.
