Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Qadian/Gurdaspur/Chandigarh, June 26: Thousands of people paid their last respect to Mrs Gurbachan Kaur Bajwa, mother of the Punjab Congress chief Mr Partap Singh Bajwa who was cremated here today. She was 85. The pyre was lit by his elder son Brigadier MPS Bajwa alonwith S. Partap Singh Bajwa & S. Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa. Smt. Charanjit Kaur Bajwa MLA Qadian was also presnt at the crimination.
Smt. Gurbachan Kaur Bajwas husband Mr Satnam Singh Bajwa too was a well-known political leader of the region with immense contribution. She had not been keeping well for the last sometime. The Bhog ceremony will be held on 05.07.2015(Sunday) at Qadian.
