Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Ludhiana, At least six persons were killed and more than 100 others when an ammonia gas tanker leaked around midnight under the Doraha flyover in Ludhiana district.
The gas leak triggered panic in the nearby residential areas as the people fled to safety.
Police said the bodies had been shifted to a hospital in Ludhiana.
The affected people have been admitted to different hospitals in Doraha, Khanna and Ludhiana.
Senior civil and police officers rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.
