Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
CHANDIGARH, JUNE 12: Dr. Charanjit Singh Atwal Speaker Punjab Legislative Assembly nominated by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narinder Modi as Member of the high power Committee for the celebrations of 125th Birth Century of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. In a special meeting held at Chandigarh with Chief Minister Punjab S. Parkash Singh Badal, Dr. Atwal thanked Sardar Parkash Singh Badal , Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal, Deputy Chief Minister and also Hon’ble Prime Minister Narinder Modi. During the meeting Sardar Badal while congratulating Dr. Atwal said that by nominating Dr. Atwal by the Government of India in the Committee, the whole Punjab felt proud. On this occasion Chief Minister on behalf of Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP also thanked the Prime Minister Mr. Narinder Modi. It was worth to mention here that in this high power committee there were 13 Cabinet Ministers, 3 Religious but Dr. Atwal was the only who had been nominated from all the States in India.
