Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
CHANDIGARH, June 11: Congress Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha Capt Amarinder Singh today congratulated the Indian army for its successful operation along the Myanmar border killing the insurgents who were responsible for killing 18 of our soldiers in Manipur recently.
“It is really a proud moment for all of us with a clear and categorical message to everyone around that if you try to mess around with us you cannot get away with it”, he asserted in a statement while adding, “this is a great job done by our army for which it deserves to be congratulated”.
The former Chief Minister said, country’s interest has always been paramount to the army and the recent operation was also done in the national interest. He said, it will be wrong and unfortunate if anybody tried to politicise it or derive any mileage out of it.
At the same time, the senior Congress leaders advised caution and restrain warning against certain vested interests who were trying to politicise it for narrow and partisan gains.
