BADAL ASKS DC GURDASPUR TO PROBE INTO CASE OF STEALING POWER IN OFFICES OF SDM AND TEHSILDAR OF DERA BABA NANAK

Chandigarh, Taking serious cognizance of high-handedness of the SDM and Tehsildar of Dera Baba Nanak Sub-Division for allegedly stealing power for their offices, the Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh today directed the Deputy Commissioner Gurdaspur to hold an enquiry to look into all aspects to get into the bottom of the case.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of the CMO said that rules & regulations were same for any citizen of the state be a common man or even any officer, who so ever high he may be. He asked the Deputy Commissioner to submit an inquiry report at the earliest so that a stern action could be taken against these officers allegedly involved in this offence. The Chief Minister further said such act of violation or negligence on the part of any public servant while discharging their official duties would never be tolerated at any cost rather such delinquent officers/officials deserved the ‘severest of sever’ punishment as deterrent for other such erring two officials in future.
