* PUNJAB GOVERNMENT IS COMMITTED FOR DEVELOPMENT OF RURAL AREAS
Chandigarh, May 18: Rural Development Minister Mr. Sikandar Singh Maluka today distributed grants of 263 lakh to 12 villages for their integrated development.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Maluka said that Punjab government is committed for over all development of rural areas and to find lasting solutions to common problems of villages.
On this special occasion minister he also distributed the sewing machines to needy and poor ladies. Talking to the public he said that Punjab Government would solve the problems of rural areas on priority bases. The villages that got grants today included Rs.36.70 lakh to Sailbrah village, Rs. 27.10 to Ghandabna , Rs.20 lakh to Dipali and Rs.18.20 lakh to Dipali Khurd,Rs.14.60 Rayya,Rs. 34.20 lakh to Burj Gill, Rs 22.07 to Dulewala, Rs 20 lakh to Gumti , Rs.21.50 to Bhodipura, Rs. 31.30 to Siryewala, Rs. 15 lakh Jailal and grant of Rs 3 lakh provided to Korhaguru.
