Dharmik darshan yatra heads off from malout

Malout (Sri Muktsar Sahib), May 12 ; The initiative of Punjab government and Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) Dharmik Darshan Yatra today headed towards Sri Muktsar Sahib after ardas was conducted at Malout in the morning hours. Thousands of devotees had darshan of Guru Sahibans’ relics.

At Malout PUDA Colony the ardas was held and under the Punjab Agro chairman Jathedar Dyal Singh Kolianwali and MLA Mr Harpreet Singh the procession was set off to its next destination. Speaking at the occasion the MLA Mr Harpreet Singh appreciated the efforts of Punjab government in its effort for joining Punjabis with their rich past.

The Jathedar Dyal Singh Kolianwali presented siropas to Panj Piaras and performed ardas for Sarbat Da Bhala. He said that the yatra was proving to be a big help in associating youngsters with their history of valor and dedication. He said that the yatra was getting rousing welcome wherever it went.

Having started from PUDA Colony the Dharmik Darshan Yatra passed from the main roads of Malout and moved towards Dane Wala Chowk and returned to leave for Sri Muktsar Sahib. Enroute the yatra, devotees had out up cold water chhabeel. Reciting Waheguru, Waheguru devotees had darshan of the relics.

Prominent among others present at yatra included Deputy Commissioner Mr Jaskiran Singh, SSP Kuldeep Chahal, Mr Gurcharan Singh, deputy CM’s PA Mr Avtar Singh Vanwala, Mr Satinderjit Singh Manta, chairman Kulwinder Singh Bhaikakera, Parvinder Singh Kolianwali, chairman Mr Basant Singh Kang, Mrs Veerpal Kaur Tarmala, Mr Ram Singh Arowala, Bobby Kang, Bhinder Kang, Ranjodh Singh Lambi, Manjeet Singh Lalbai and others were present.
