Dharmik darshan yatra sets off from talwandi sabo for bathinda with khalsai jaho jalal

1-42* Lacs of people pay obeisance to guru sahibans’ relice

* Fruit, pakoras, jalebi, laddoo, beverages’ langar dots the route

Talwandi Sabo (Bathinda), May 10: The Punjab government and Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhal Committee’s (SGPC) initiative Dharmik Darshan Yatra set off from Takht Sri Damdama Sahib towards Talwandi Sabo today colored with Khalsai Jaho Jalal. The devotees have had darshan of 13 relics associated to Guru Sahiban in last two days. during yatra lacs of devotees paid obeisance seeking blessings of the Gurus. Amidst the thick crowd of devotees the Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Granthi Bhai Balwant Singh performed ardas. The executive Singh Sahib of Takht Sri Damdama Sahib Giani Gurmukh Singh honored the Panj Piaras with siropa.

On this occasion the Singh Sahib of Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib Giani Mal Singh, area MLA Talwandi Sabo Mr Jeet Mohinder Singh Sidhu, deputy commissioner Dr Basant Garg, SSP Mr Kuldeep Singh Chahal, SDM Mr Vineet Kumar, executive member SGPC Jathedar Mohan Singh Bangi, MLA Kalianwali (Sirsa) Sardar Balkaur Singh, SGPC member Mr Gurpreet Singh Jhabbar, Bhai Amrik Singh Kotshamir and others were also present.

The relics of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib, Sri Guru Teg Bahadar Sahib and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji are being carried in specially crafted 33 feet long bus. Therelics include 46 inches long sword, 22 inches long whip, Siri Sahib, one sword, Chola Sahib, manuscript, hair, comb and turban, 20 inches long iron arrow, three-and-a-half inch long Siri Sahib, 30 inches long wooden spear and five arrows.

After starting from Talwandi Sabo the yatra passed through areas of Bhagi Wander, Jeevan Singh Wala, Kotshamir, Katar Singh Wala, Jassi Pau Wali and entered Bathinda city from Mati Dass Nagar area. The yatra further moved towards Fauji Chowk, Bibi Wala Chowk, Barnala bypass, Rose Garden Road, Goniana Road, Balmiki Chowk and reached Gurudwara Haji Rattan Sahib after giving darshan of Guru Sahibans’ relics to each and everyone.

On May 11 the yatra would move towards Multania Road, on Bathinda-Malout Road will reach Balluana, Gidderbaha and further towards Malout. On May 12 yatra would move from Malout to Sri Muktsar Sahib, will halt on May 13 at Sri Muktsar Sahib and on May 14 the yatra would further moved towards Kotkapura and Faridkot.
