Workshop on Risk Management in e-governance organized

* Imparts skills and knowledge for proper implementation of e-Governance projects

Chandigarh, The Directorate of Governance Reforms, Punjab has conducted 2 Days Specialized e-Governance Training Programme (STeP) on “e-Governance Risk Management (S2 eGRM) for Punjab State Officers & Officials.

A spokesman of the Governance Reforms Department today said that this workshop was organized for Officers/ Officials working on e-Governance Projects at State level, Project Managers/ Nodal Officers designated for e-Governance initiatives at State government level and district offices who are expected to lead/play crucial role to implement e-Governance in their respective regions.

The aim behind this workshop was to equip them with skills and knowledge on “e-Governance Risk Management (S2 eGRM)’ for State level e-Governance initiatives and e- Governance projects being implemented in the state under National e-Governance Plan (NeGP).

This training was organized in coordination with National Institute for Smart Government (NISG), Hyderabad to build State Capacity Building as per guidelines of Department of Electronics & Information Technology (DeitY), Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India.

Management (S2 e-GRM) was conducted by Sh. Harish P. Iyer and Sh. S. Kapoor from NISG. Sh.Vivek Vatsa Senior Consultant Change Management, Punjab SeMT, Department of Governance Reforms shared presentation on Capacity Building Action Plan for the State. Sh. Rajnish Malhotra, Head SeMT Punjab Department of Governance Reforms Shared Information on Digital India and Skill India Programme and the progress of e-Governance Initiatives in the state.

Sh.Harjit Singh Kandhola, PCS Director, Department of Governance Reforms, Punjab distributed participation certificates to distinguished officers /officials of various Departments and district Offices of State of Punjab.
