Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi today in his own typical style conveyed to former Punjab chief minister and his “uncle”Capt Amarinder Singh as to who was the boss.
Capt. Amarinder Singh had gone public with his stance that this was not the time for the young leader to take over the reins of the party as it was his mother Sonia Gandhiwhose leadership was all the more needed at this crucial juncture.
At the Kisan rally in the Ram Lila ground, it was Punjab Congress President Partap Singh Bajwa who was given due importance as he was among one of those chosen leaders who shared the mike. Former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hoodawas present on the stage. The only leader who was completely ignored happened to be Capt Amarinder Singh.
It may be mentioned that his outburst against Rahul gave anxious moments even to his ardent supporters.
The chorus in support of Rahul is getting stronger with each passing day.
