Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Punjab Revenue & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia today extended his good wishes to the people on the eve of birth anniversary of Baba Saheb Dr B.R. Ambedkar.
In his message, Mr. Majithia described Dr. Ambedkar as a social revolutionary of great vision, legal luminary of great acumen, staunch champion of human rights who was still fondly remembered for his pioneering role in the drafting of our Constitution. He said that Dr. Ambedkar dedicated his entire life in the service of the deprived sections of society. His services towards the mankind will never be forgotten. He struggled throughout his life for the rights of underprivileged, disadvantaged, oppressed, minorities and backward sections of society. He further said that Dr Ambedkar believed that an ideal society can be established by eliminating social ills.
Mr. Majithia added that the resolve to tread the path shown by Dr Ambedkar on his jayanti would be a true tribute to the great leader.
