Hussey believes Dhoni ‘calmer’ skipper than Clarke, McCullum

344090-dhoni-glove700Wellington: Former Australia batsman Michael Hussey has lavished praise on Mahendra Singh Dhoni, describing the Indian skipper as the ‘calmer’ captain than his contemporaries.

Hussey has reunited with two-time Indian Premier League champions Chennai Super Kings following a stint with Mumbai Indian last year.

Describing Dhoni as calmer captain than his contemporaries like Brendon McCullum and Michael Clarke, Hussey said that the Indian skipper doesn’t get too flustered and thinks very clearly under pressure, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Hussey further said that Dhoni was backed up magnificently by his bowlers, adding that one looks like a good or bad captain depending on how his players respond.

The eight edition of the IPL commences on Wednesday and will continue till May 24th.
