Chandigarh, The Punjab government has started recruitment process of 43 Tehsil Welfare Officers to strengthen the Welfare Department, especially at the Tehsil level for ensuring proper delivery of Welfare schemes to the beneficiaries in the remote villages. Punjab Welfare Minister Mr Gulzar Singh Ranike said that welfare department has started the recruitment process and these vacancies would be filled very soon.
Divulging the details, a spokesperson said that applications can be submitted online only atwww.punjabscholarships.gov.in from September 15 to October 7, 2014. He said that graduate in any discipline from a recognized university and punjabi passed at the level of matric or equivalent can apply for the post of Tehsil Welfare Officer. He further said that candidates can get information regarding detail of posts, reservation charts, qualifications, age limit and other terms and conditions etc. from the website.
