Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, The Punjab Government has today placed Mr. Gautam Cheema, IPS, Inspector General of Police, under suspension with immediate effect.
According to a spokesperson of Department of Home Affairs and Justice a complaint was filed by Smt. Kricpy Khera, Smt. Maninder Gulati and Smt. Amarpreet Verma against Mr. Gautam Cheema. He said that to ensure free and fair probe regarding the allegations Mr. Cheema placed under suspension with immediate effect. He further said that during suspension period his headquarter would be the office of Director General of Police, Punjab, Chandigarh.
