National Health Mission’s employee on strike urged to join back their duties

Chandigarh, The Mission Director National Health Mission, Punjab, Sh Hussan Lal here today appealed the striking employees of NHM Punjab to join back their duties as the department is already considering their genuine demands pertaining to rationalization of the salaries of employees. He stated that the earlier orders of Rationalization issued on 9-3-15 have already been stayed by Health & Family Welfare Minister, Punjab and a 2 member committee is already looking into the objections raised by the unions of NHM employees and the said committee is likely to put forth its report in a day’s time. He urged that employees should come back and join duties immediately so that the health care services for general public do not suffer due to the strike.
