Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, March 20 (Punjab Update Bureau)- Aam Aadmi Party MP from Sangrur Bhagwant Mann filed a divorce case in a Mohali court here today. He had come accompanied by his wife Inderpreet Kaur raising speculation about the divorce being mutual.
Additional District and Session Judge PP Singh fixed the next hearing for October 1. They remained in the court for about half an hour.
Questioned by media persons, Mann refused to comment.
All efforts to contact him till late in the evening remained futile as he did not pick up the phone.
They have two children.
A large crowd had gathered outside the court as the news spread that the couple was in the court to file divorce plea.
