Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Mohali: Out-of-favour India spinner Harbhajan Singh will lead Punjab in the inter state T-20 Tournament for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
The senior selection committee of Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) met here on Monday and selected a squad of 17 players for the North League, where Punjab will play their opening match against Haryana at the Ferozeshah Kotla ground on March 24.
PCA spokesperson Sushil Kapoor said Harbhajan has been named as captain while Gurkirat Singh Mann will be his deputy.
Bhupinder Singh Sr. will be the coach of the team and the players have been asked to report at PCA Stadium here for a five-day camp.
The other players are Manan Vohra, Jaskaranveer Singh Sohi, Ravi Inder Singh, Mandeep Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Himanshu Chawla, Taruwar Kohli, Rajwinder Singh Golu, Gurinder Singh, Sandeep Sharma, Barinder Singh Saran, Siddharth Kaul, Anmolpreet Singh, Subek Gill and Anmol Malhotra.
