Chandigarh, The BJP MLAs registered their resentment against the attitude of the alliance partner the Akali Dal by boycotting the joint meeting of the legislature party.
The BJP leaders are irked over the delay in the action taken in the case relating to the assault on Raja Joshi, brother of Local Bodies Minister Anil Joshi, by the Akalis in Tarn Taran during the nagar council elections.
At another level, Education Minister Daljit Singh Cheema and Industries Minister Madan Mohan Mittal sparred over the election of office bearers of the Anandpur Sahib civic body.
The relations between the two alliance partners have been far from being smooth for the last several months.
