Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, Punjab BJP president Sh. Kamal Sharma while welcoming the civic elections results in the state has termed the landslide victory of the SAD-BJP combine as victory of the democracy and development agenda pursued by the ruling alliance. Sh. Sharma said that the cooperation extended by the Punjabis and the hard work done by the workers has been instrumental in registering win in the elections. Sh. Sharma asserted that this victory would further give a boost to the development works being undertaken by the SAD-BJP regime. In a statement issued from party office, Sh. Sharma announced that Ferozepur, Fazilka, Mukerian, Dasuya, Nangal, Tanda, Rajpura, Deenanagar and Sujanpur will have BJP presidents. Sh. Sharma also expressed his gratitude towards the party workers and the voters. He said that the people of Punjab have once again reposed faith in the development agenda of the ruling combine. He also said that this victory would not only boost the morale of the state government but would also give a push for the centre government to carry out development in the entire country.
