* Jakhar condemns the act of Punjab Police for registering the fake case
against son of Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi
Chandigarh, The leader of opposition in state Assembly Sunil Jakhar today slammed the act of Punjab police and also termed them as the puppets of SAD- BJP Government for registering the fake cases against congress workers and son of Guru Harsahai MLA.
Leader of Opposition also condemned the police for registering the fake case against Anumeet Singh Hira Sodhi, son of sitting MLA from Guru Harsahai Rana Gurmeet Singh Sodhi. He said that Punjab police have proved that they have become the puppets of the Akali Government.
He said that ruling government has crossed all limits in these local body elections by threatening the candidates of congress party. He said that the ruling government has trying to capture these elections by registering the fake cases against the Congress party workers and other candidates. He also mentioned that goons of Akali government have been threatening even the family members of the Congress MLAs.
While slamming these Akali Jathedars, Jakhar said that this Akali Dal, where targeting the Congress party workers, there also targeting the brother of their own Cabinet Minister Anil Joshi, which proved that SAD has been creating nuisance during these election time.
He also warned the state Government that if they will not stop such act, the entire opposition will give befitting reply by spreading awareness among people. He said that Congress will not allow killing of democratic principles and also appealed to the people to teach lesson this SAD_BJP Akali Government.
