International Mother language Day Celebrated in Chandigarh”

Chandigarh, International Mother language Day” was celebrated in a unique way by different religious followers in Chandigarh. Cycale yatra was carried by the group which was led by Panditrao Dharennavar who has been trying to implement Punjabi language as as official language in Chandigarh Administration. The cycalye yatra was started from Sri Guru Anagad Dev ji Gurudwara, sector 42 and went up to Adviser’s house in sector 7 to submit memorandum. The memorandum was seeking Punjabi medium government school in Chandigarh.
Panditrao, assistant professor in government college said after the cycale yatra that” I will make sure that there is Punjabi Medium government school in Chandigarh and official language status to Punjabi Language.
