Toronto ,A teen rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being stabbing Friday afternoon is expected to survive, Toronto police said.
It happened on Playfair Avenue, in the Caledonia Road and Lawrence Avenue area, at around 1:30 p.m.
According to Toronto Paramedic Services, the boy was stabbed multiple times.
Toronto Catholic District School Board trustee Maria Rizzo said the victim is a 17-year-old student at Dante Alighieri Academy.
No suspect details have been provided by police.
