Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, The Punjab Government today finalised a plan to strengthen the fencing of wildlife sanctuaries located in Motibagh and Dosanjh to protect the wildlife animals in the sanctuary besides save the sanctuaries from encroachment.
According to the scientific fencing plan finalised by the wildlife Department, plain and barbed wire would be entangled with plain strips in a scientific design for fencing of wildlife sanctuaries all over Punjab.
Stating this, a spokesperson of the department said that the technical bid for the fencing material would be opened on 23rd February. The spokesperson further elaborated that cost bid shall be opened after evaluating technical bid.
