Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, The Bharatiya Janata Party has demanded arrest of the Akali activists who yesterday attacked Raja Joshi, brother of Local Bodies Minister Anil Joshi, in Tarn Taran two days back within 24 hours.
The party also demanded the suspension of the Station House Officer concerned and the transfer of the district police chief.
A party release said Union Minister of State Vijay Sampla, national Secretary Tarun Chugh and Brij Lal Rinwa would visit Tarn Taran tomorrow under the leadership of state party President Kamal Sharma.
It may be mentioned the Anil Joshi yesterday addressed a news conference here to air hos grievances and demanded judicial probe.
The Akali Dal and the BJP activists had clashed over the municipal polls.
