Joshi reaping what he had sown : Randhawa asked

* Congress asked BJP Minister to step down

Chandigarh, The Punjab Congress today said that Punjab Cabinet Minister Anil Joshi is reaping what he has sown by humiliating, insulting and plotting ‘political murder’ of his political Guru former MP Navjot Singh Sidhu at behest of Akalis.

Joining the issue of ongoing turf war between SAD and BJP leadership after thrashing of Joshi’s brother by Akalis at Tarn Taran, Congress MLA Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa reminded Joshi about the days when he along with Akali leaders Bikram Singh Majithia, Virsa Singh Valtoha and others, at behest of Badals had led tirade against Sidhu to bring Arun Jaitley at Amritsar Lok Sabha elections.

“At behest of Badal, you along with Majithia humiliated, insulted and plotted political murder of your Political Guru Navjot Singh Sidhu, who brought you from Tarn Taran and made MLA and subsequently Minister. But instead of respecting him, you brow beaten Sidhu and forced him to quit Amritsar. You have done all this for your Akali ‘friends’, who are now showing you their reality and sinister designs. Akalis has used you and now they will throw you out”, said Randhawa.

He said that at time of Launching tirade against honest leader like Sidhu, Joshi was daily holding meetings of Majithia and Badals. That time you were not aware that Majithia as leader of goons, said Randhawa to Joshi, saying that latter has reaped what he has sown.

“Now you have only left with two options either to resign or face daily humiliation. And I know that for greed of power and ‘benefits’ you won’t resign”, he said to Joshi.

“I Dare you to resign and start movement against Akalis by exposing their misdeeds, I will join you in the drive of exposing corrupt Akalis”, Said Randhawa while asking joshi to don’t expect anything from BJP President Kamal Sharma.

“BJP President Kamal Sharma has sold out interest of BJP workers and its vote bank, for his petty personal benefits from Badals”, he added.

Training guns of CM PS Badal on issue of Forming SIT to probe Tarn Taran incident, Randhawa said that in 2009, when Joshi was beaten by Akalis, a similar inquiry was initiated, but till yet no report was finalized. “Its any eyewash. Instead of forming SIT arrest all goons, who attacked the BJP workers and sunspend all officials, who didn’t act and remained mute spectators, when Akalis were roughing up BJP workers at Tarn Taran”, said Randhawa.
