Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Ludhiana, New book of Canada based writer and Patron of Punjabi Sahit Akademi, S. Puran Singh Pandhi’s book “Sangeet Di Duniya” was released by Punjabi Sahit Akademi former president Prof Gurbhajan Gill and Principal Prem Singh Bajaj at Punjabi Bhawan, Ludhiana. Prominent among those present on the occasion included Principal Balkar Singh Bajwa, Mr Surinder Kailey, Mr Ravinder Deewana, Mr Satish Gulati, Mr Surinder Shinda, Mr Kanwaljit Shankar, Mr Balkaur Singh Gill besides several others.
While speaking on the occasion, Prof Gurbhajan Gill said that Sangeet (music) is a universal language and has no boundaries or limits. He said that Music is a medium through which one can easily connect with people of all nationalities. Prof Gill said that despite living in Canada, S. Puran Singh Pandhi has written his book after studying Music in detail.
Punjabi Sahit Akademi’s reference library director Principal Prem Singh Bajaj said that for writing this book titled “Sangeet Di Duniya”, Mr Pandhi has studied a large amount of reference material of their library.
