Ahead of the October 4th launch of the upcoming Google Pixel 8 series, the Google Store website treated us to a surprise by unveiling the design of the Pixel 8 Pro.

Pixel 8 Pro
Sliding to the front of the Pixel 8 Pro, you will see a centered punch-hole cutout that houses the selfie camera. The power and volume buttons will be situated on the right side of the device. On the back, there will be a triple-camera setup along with an LED flash, as well as a temperature sensor.
Regarding color options, the simulator reveals that the Pixel 8 Pro will be available in three hues: Sky, Porcelain, and Licorice.
Anticipated Specs and Features
While design is a critical aspect, let’s not forget the specifications and features of the Pixel 8 Pro.
The flagship will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a sharp QHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Tensor G3 chipset and feature a Titan security chip for data protection.
For memory and storage, users can enjoy options of up to 12GB of RAM and a spacious 256GB of internal storage, ensuring seamless multitasking and ample space for apps and files.
In the photography department, the Pixel 8 Pro with house a 50MP primary camera equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 64MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP telephoto camera. Selfies will be handled by an 11MP shooter.
Lastly, the Pixel 8 Pro will come with a 4,950mAh battery. It will support both 27W wired fast charging and 24W wireless charging.

While the Pixel 8 Pro steals the spotlight, its sibling, the Pixel 8, also brings notable features to the table. It’s expected to feature a 6.17-inch display with Full HD+ resolution, the Tensor G3 chipset, a 50MP dual-camera setup, an 11MP selfie camera, and a 4,485mAh battery.
The Pixel Watch 2
But wait, there’s more. It is rumored that Google will introduce the Pixel Watch 2 alongside the Pixel 8 lineup. The smartwatch is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset, WearOS 4, 2GB of RAM, four new watch faces, and a resolution of 383×384 pixels.
