Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Former chairperson of State Women Commission, Manisha Gulati has approached the Punjab and Haryana high court against Punjab government’s decision of removing her from the post.
As per the report of The Hindustan Times, the plea in this reagrd was taken up by the bench of justice Anil Kshetarpal on Wednesday but hearing was deferred till Thursday.
Punjab government on Saturday had issued a notification regarding the withdrawal of the extension of the term granted to Manisha Gulati as Chairperson of the State Women Commission with immediate effect.
