Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh,The Punjab Government has notified 6 non official directors of the Punjab Dairy Development Board (PDDB) under section 3 of Punjab Dairy Development Board Act, 2000 as amended on 20th April 2004.
An official spokesman said that Managing Director, Milkfed, Punjab nominated as Director on the behalf of representatives of milk plants. Similarly, M/s Nestle india Ltd., Moga on the behalf of private sector, Mr. Swaran Singh Haripura of Amritsar and Mr. Partap Singh of village Chabba, Amritsar has been nominated Directors on the behalf of representatives of dhodi union and representatives of consumer association respectively.
He further said that Mr. Narinder Singh of VPO Khadoor Sahib and Mr. Sukharpreet Singh Rode of village Kothe Gurupura, Moga have been nominated on the behalf of representatives of milk producers. He said that their term would be for one year.
