Western Disturbance will affect Western Himalayan Region for a few days starting Tuesday, February 22. Rain is likely to happen on Tuesday with daily rainfall of 50-80 mm before easing Wednesday onward.
Under the influence of the system and its induced cyclonic circulation, isolated light rains are forecast over Punjab on Tuesday and over Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and north Rajasthan on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Strong surface winds of 25-35 kmph are likely to prevail over Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh from Sunday to Tuesday and over north Rajasthan on Tuesday.
Temperatures will remain near or above normal across India during this projection period. Western Himalayan Region will experience continuous days of significantly higher than normal readings through next week.
