Woman abuses CISF jawan, makes offensive gesture with finger after being asked to undergo thermal screening at Bengaluru airport

Bengaluru: A woman landed in the police net after she allegedly hurled abuses at a Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel deployed at Kempegowda International Airport in Karnataka’s Bengaluru.

As per reports, the woman, who is in her 30s, was scheduled to fly to Mumbai by an IndiGo flight on Wednesday. She allegedly broke the passenger queue and headed to the entry point without undergoing mandatory thermal screening.

CISF assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Mandeep Singh asked the woman to undergo thermal screening. Shockingly, she abused him and made an obscene gesture using her finger. The ASI then apprised his seniors of the incident, following which female CISF personnel arrived and escorted the woman out, according to a report published by The Times of India.

The woman was then handed over to the cops at the KIA police station in the Karnataka capital. She is a resident of Mumbai’s Andheri area, the report stated citing sources.

This comes weeks after a 22-year-old girl from Delhi allegedly attacked an Army vehicle and pushed a soldier within the jurisdiction of Padav police station in Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. A video of the incident had gone viral on social media platforms.

The video showed the drunken woman creating ruckus on the road. She intercepted an Army vehicle and repeatedly kicked it. This prompted an Army man to alight from the vehicle to stop her. Shockingly, as the Army jawan attempted to stop her, she pushed him back in front of hoards of onlookers. People claimed that she even made obscene remarks and abused passersby before female constables arrived and took her into custody.
