Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
Chandigarh, 66th Republic Day was celebrated in Punjab Congress Bhawan Chandigarh with traditional gaiety and fervor. Punjab Pradesh Congress General Secretary S. Fateh Jang Singh Bajwa hoisted the National Flag while a troop of Punjab Police and Congress Sewa Dal volunteers offered salute to the National Flag.
While addressing an impressive gathering on the occasion of Republic Day of the country, here at Congress Bhawan, he emphasized that workers/leaders who would keep party before self and endeavour to maintain national unity, integrity, communal harmony & mutual brotherhood. He added that cadre should be committed towards the nation to bring about revolution in the country and to uplift the poor & downtrodden.
The function culminated with rendition of national anthem by Seva Dal workers. Prominent among others present on the occasion were S. Jasbir Singh Dimpa Ex-MLA, S.
