Sidhu submits papers for MEA clearance

Congress MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu has submitted the documents with the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) regarding the invitation received from acting Pakistan High Commissioner Syed Haider Shah on behalf of PM Imran Khan for the inauguration ceremony of Kartarpur corridor, scheduled to be held on November 9.

The ministry had sought official invitation from Sidhu, making it clear that the invitees would have to take clearance as part of the guidelines.
Sidhu had earlier also sent a communiqué to Union Minister of External Affairs Dr S Jaishankar and Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh in this regard.
