Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the first jatha that will leave to pay obeisance at Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib through the corridor at Dera Baba Nanak on November 9.
This was disclosed by Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal after SAD workers’ meeting held under leadership of SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal here today. The meeting was attended by existing and former SAD MLAs, district presidents and other supporters. The purpose was to motivate them to participate in the ensuing 550th birth anniversary programmes.
“The Centre government has chalked out programme on November 9 in which a delegation would visit Gurdwara Kartarpur located across the border. The PM would attend the programmes scheduled at Dera Baba Nanak and flag off the maiden jatha to holy shrine”, she said. She said people would be the best observant about those who defy the Akal Takht directions by erecting separate stage by wasting public money.
