Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh
With a staggering 12 nominations, Escape At Dannemora is one of the front runners at the 71st Emmy Awards in the limited series race. Starring Patricia Arquette, Benicio Del Toro, Paul Dano, Bonnie Hunt, Eric Lange and David Morse, the show has been directed by Ben Stiller. The seven-episode series is based on true life events on the 2015 Clinton Correctional Facility escape in upstate New York.
Actor Paul Dano who received an Emmy nomination for his portrayal of David Sweat recently met the real-life convict who is currently serving time in solitary. He shared, “We met David Sweat who’s been in solitary since the escape. It’s hard to look at somebody behind bars and see that they have a sense of humour! He had the mind of an engineer and you will see in the show these are not things that an average person can navigate.”
