Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wished Prime Minister Narendra Modi a ‘Happy International Friendship Day’ on Sunday.
In a tweet that the Israeli embassy in New Delhi shared, he said: “Happy Friendship Day 2019 India! May our ever strengthening friendship and growing partnership touch greater heights”.
In the Hindi, the tweet included ‘Yeh dosti hum nahi todenge’, a song from a 1975 Bollywood movie ‘Sholay’.
The tweet also included a slide show of pictures of the two prime ministers greeting each other.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is the longest-serving Israeli prime minister, will visit India in September.Modi recently featured in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s election campaign in Israel.
