Driving Naari Programme launched in Chandigarh

The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) has invited prominent religious and political figures from Punjab and Haryana to join the nagar kirtan from Delhi to Nankana Sahib in Pakistan on October 13. DSGMC chief Manjinder Singh Sirsa has already invited Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Harpreet Singh.
Meanwhile, the SAD (Delhi) felicitated eight Congress MPs from Punjab at a ceremony in Delhi on Wednesday. The event was attended by Pakistan’s acting High Commissioner and prominent members of the Punjabi community. SAD (D) chief Paramjit Singh Sarna has also planned a cross-border nagar kirtan scheduled for October 28 from Delhi to reach Nankana Sahib on November 1. The Congress MPs spoke on the upcoming event.
