Didn’t approve pardon to cops: Sukhbir

Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal today dared the Congress to prove that he recommended pardon to four cops who abducted and killed an innocent Sikh youth to seek out-of-turn promotions.

In a statement here, he claimed that the file making out a case for pardon to the cops did not come to him for consideration. “There is thus no question of me signing any such file,” he added. The SAD president also asked the government to come clean on the issue and lay all facts before the people.
